After earning a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and teaching middle school for ten years, Casie Bazay is now a freelance writer specializing in equine topics and a nationally certified Equine Acupressure Practitioner, certified through Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute and the National Board Certification of Animal Acupressure and Massage. She is the owner of Oklahoma Equine Acupressure, serving northeastern Oklahoma. Casie is also a graduate of Dr. Eleanor Kellon's NRC Plus and Nutrition as Therapy equine nutrition courses.

Casie has owned Quarter Horses most of her life and has been a competitive barrel racer for more than twenty years. Casie has also been a riding instructor for nearly as long, teaching new riders basic horsemanship and Western riding. Casie resides on an acreage in northeastern Oklahoma with her family, horses, and other pets. She is passionate about learning as much as she possibly can about horse health and care, and she loves to share what she has learned through writing.
